HMS Jump Start

Student and families will have the opportunity to:

  • Pre-order their 25-26 yearbook- $30 

  • Request a locker, get a combination, and personalize their space

  • Lockers are not required, but students are welcome to get an individual or shared locker if they choose.

  • Drop-off donated supplies (All donations are optional and at the family’s discretion)

  • $30 donation for student recognition and activities

  • 1+ reams of white printer paper

  • 1+ reams of graphing paper

  • 1+ box of tissues

  • Post-it notes

  • AA Batteries

  • One pack of pens

  • One pack of pencils

  • Black Sharpie markers

  • One roll of painters tape

  • One pack of Dry Erase markers

  • One pack of colored pencils

  • Neck ties for “Tie Tuesday” student recognition

  • Pick-up and walk their schedule

  • Meet their teachers and see their classrooms

  • Drop-off medication and complete related forms

  • Sign-up for ParentVue

  • Drop-off their instrument (First and Last name must be on the instrument)

Jump Start will be held at Hazelbrook from 5:00-7:00 pm on August 27th, 2025. In an effort to ensure we have adequate parking and space, we ask that students with the last names starting A-L attend between 5:00-6:00pm and students K-Z attend 6:00-7:00 pm. If you’re unable to attend at your designated time, please feel free to attend the event at your convenience. This is a drop-in style event, so come and go as you please.
