HMS Cares: A Day of Service
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER HERE! On Thursday, May 21st, Hazelbrook students will complete service projects for the community. We are looking for 35 volunteers that can help from 8am-12pm, so that we will have a volunteer to assist each Community Teacher/Class with their service project. Some projects will at the school, but the majority will be off campus. Volunteers will be given information about their assigned project in advance. If you would like to be assigned to a specific Community Teacher, please mention it in the comment when you sign up and we will do our best to accommodate requests.
When you arrive at Hazelbrook, please sign-in at the main office and proceed to the library to check-in with the Volunteer Coordinator and help yourself to some coffee and breakfast treats. Thank you so much for helping to make this event a success!
Please note: You must be cleared by the district to volunteer with students. Volunteer approval is good for 3 years. If you aren't sure if you are an approved volunteer, please email volunteer@hmspso.com or just sign up and we will reach out to let you know if you need to apply. Staff Appreciation Coffee Bar
Let's show HMS Staff that we appreciate all the work they do! On the last Teacher Work Day of the year, PSO is providing a Coffee Bar at HMS to help everyone stay focused and energized! Please sign up here.

Garden Soil Party
Bring your shovel, wheelbarrow, or just yourself and come to help us load 7 yards of donated soil from Al's Garden Center into the newly built boxes in our Teaching and Learning Garden. Meet us at the front of the school, near the white gate (to the right of the building as you are looking at it). Thank you for helping!!

Join us for an evening of free family fun at Hazelbrook’s annual Fall Festival! Enjoy snacks, carnival games, and inflatable obstacle courses that are sure to delight kids of all ages. Art in the Burbs
Come shop at "Art in the Burbs" art show & sale!
This popular 2-day event - November 8-9, 2025, 10a-5pm at Tigard High - raises money for the amazing arts programs in all of our district schools.
20% of sales supports choir, band, ballroom dancing, art literacy, musicals, microphones, and more. This event is more important than ever with recent budget cuts to the arts. Come find your treasures and support the arts. Tell your friends.

Student and families will have the opportunity to:
Pre-order their 25-26 yearbook- $30
Request a locker, get a combination, and personalize their space
Lockers are not required, but students are welcome to get an individual or shared locker if they choose.
Drop-off donated supplies (All donations are optional and at the family’s discretion)
$30 donation for student recognition and activities

Jump Start will be held at Hazelbrook from 5:00-7:00 pm on August 27th, 2025. In an effort to ensure we have adequate parking and space, we ask that students with the last names starting A-L attend between 5:00-6:00pm and students K-Z attend 6:00-7:00 pm. If you’re unable to attend at your designated time, please feel free to attend the event at your convenience. This is a drop-in style event, so come and go as you please.
